About me

I started in 2014 as a junior editor and motion designer at Long Story Short Media, a creative studio. Over the next decade I moved up to lead motion designer and then Creative Director. I designed and animated, pitched to clients and vendors, helped hire new motion designers, and supported the team as it grew.

Long Story Short did a bit of everything, so I did too. About half my work was live events, around 30 in all. The rest was short-form video, brand and logo design, broadcast graphics, marketing, social, print, and e-learning. Whatever or wherever the screen, I can work with it.

Highlights

  • Robin Hood Foundation: Five years of screen content for its two biggest annual events. The Big Benefit fills the Javits Center with roughly 3,500 guests each May. The Investors Conference, presented with J.P. Morgan, sold out in 2024 with 700+ attendees.

  • A top-5 global technology company: Multiple years of motion design for a week-long series of eight simultaneous global events, plus recurring internal video and multi-module e-learning for onboarding and professional development.

  • Long Story Short Media: Twelve years at a studio with 80+ awards and four Inc 5000 appearances. I'm proud to have been part of the team that built it. I went from junior editor and motion designer to Creative Director, working across events, video, brand, and broadcast.
